Dad I think I’ve got Didaskaleinophobia!

This gem appeared in an exhibition at the Science Museum:

I think the kids have forgotten about it so I hope they don’t read this post.

Other phobic gems (of which I suffer from the majority):

  • Phronemophobia – Fear of thinking
  • Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia – Fear of the number 666
  • Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- Fear of long words
  • Panophobia – Fear of everything
  • Phobophobia – fear of fear

What’s your personal phobia? Let me know and I’ll try and give it a name.

  1. Body parts that dangle…. that aren’t supposed too!

(Broken legs/arms that are bent the wrong way or wobble when they’re not supposed to; eyeballs popping out of their heads and dangling; ooooh and boogers/snot dangling from noses *serious gag factor*, especially when they lick it – OMG’sh!)

Which is why to this day when I hear a *THUD*, an “I’m alright” follows. 🙂

So, is there a word for this or is it just Motherofboysaphobia?
