I needed it when I got home. However I am done. I’ve got everything I need. Until I remember all the stuff I’ve forgotten – but what the hell there’s plenty of time…
C-store is slang for convenience store. Most gas stations in the US have transformed into C-stores. Pick up a six of beer, gift balloon, bread, etc while you get gas (petrol).
Ah yes we have the petrol station/store but they delight in overpricing everything, but then they have to because the petrol companies take all the profit on the fuel so they only make money from what they sell in the store
Plenty of time and I don’t know if the stores over there are like ours but the best deals are in that final week before Christmas. Just think of all the extra presents you could buy everyone.
I’m hoping that our weather warms up a bit here so that I can get out there & finish off my – we’re in the midst of an ice storm & I have a car that isn’t exactly made for winter.
I find that sales are all about the things you don’t want – especially toys – they are never on sale. Over here no one’s car is winter ready – people just slide their cars into ditches as soon as it gets to 0C
Plus the stores are all clear and you can have the place all to yourself. At that point, they’re pretty much GIVING the stuff away so it’s best to make sure you get some things for yourself…just in case what you need doesn’t end up under the tree.
Love it! I went shopping today and didn’t find that
No I went back for more but they were all gone!
Trust me, there is very little time… Less now.
Congratulations! The tea cup is nifty. Wish I had one. After a shopping marathon, a slug of brnady in the tea would be a real pick-me-up.
Good idea hadn’t thought of that!
Love it!
That’s what drug stores and C-stores are for!
what’s a c-store?

I get everything on the internet! fab!
I don’t trust them to deliver on time and i’m not organised enough to get the shopping done till its almost too late

Well in New England most everyone has SUV’s (not me) so they can drive 70 mph on ice & end up in ditches looking like fools.
Plenty of time indeed – that’s what Christmas Eve is for – bring on the bargains!
